MAKS 1410
مانع تشكل قشور كلسية في أنظمة المراجل .
PRODUCT BENEFITS
- Prevents scale formation and resulting tube failures.
- Reduces deposits, resulting in more efficient heat transfer, energy savings and fewer acid cleanings.
- Supports internal metal passivation in feedwater and boiler system.
- Multifunctional properties, acts also as fast oxygen scavenger.
- Contains only FDA approved ingredients.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 1410 is designed to assure a high level of cleanliness in the boiler system, especially on the heat transfer surfaces, together with a complete corrosion inhibiting action. The product supports internal metal passivation. MAKS 1410 can be applied in low pressure boiler systems without deaerator and on softened feedwater make-up with a total feedwater hardness of up to 15 ppm. By providing clean heat transfer surfaces MAKS 1410 saves energy and reduces cleaning and maintenance costs. MAKS 1410 is not volatile and is in compliance with FDA and USDA regulations. Suggested maximum use pressure for MAKS 1410 is 40 bar.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 1410 is a specially formulated blend of synthetic organic polymers, sulfite and phosphates.
DOSAGE
MAKS 1410 dosage will vary as a function of feedwater quality and pressure.
Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
To control the performance of MAKS 1410 treatment, a suitable analytical procedure as well as a simple test-kit is available.
FEEDING
MAKS 1410 is preferably applied neat via a stainless steel quill into the deaerator or the feedwater line. However, where dilution is required, softened water, condensate ( <35°C) or deaerated boiler feedwater should be used. MAKS 1410 must be fed continuously; any interruption in feed will result in scale or deposit formation and possible tube failure. If feedwater is used for steam attemperation, MAKS 1410 must be fed downstream of the attemperation water takeoff. MAKS 1410 must not be combined with alkaline products.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipment (pumps, lines) should be made of Stainless Steel 304 & 316, PE, PVC or PTFE. Do not use aluminium, copper, brass, polyester or zinc in contact with the neat product.
HANDLING – STORAGE - SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of protective equipment such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
The product can be stored for at least 12 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
MAKS 1410 is available in non-returnable 25 kg pails and containers of different sizes.
