Egyptian LNG is Egypt’s largest LNG partnership sponsored by EGAS, EGPC, BG Group, Petronas and Gas de France, operating as a free zone company. We have successfully build a 7.2 mtpa capacity, two-train processing plant approximately 165 hectares of land located some 3 kilometers from the town of Idku and 40 kilometers east of Alexandria on the Egyptian Mediterranean coast ,bringing USD2 billion of foreign investment into the Egyptian economy. The establishment and successful operation of Egyptian LNG has placed Egypt as a new Mediterranean LNG exporter which holds the 13th place worldwide in the LNG exporting club. Our mission is to deliver World Class performance in producing LNG safely, reliably and efficiently, with due care for the environment.
